that is required is to know what height above the line
ag, the peak ought to be placed; to find this continue
the corner line ca to o, making the distance ao equal
to the height of the peak, above the line ag; then draw
the vaninishing line o G, and the point to, in which it
intersects the line x z, will give the perspective height of
the peak ; draw the lines am and gto, and the end of
the house will be finished. In the same manner the
student must draw the other gable end by supposing the
house to be transparent, after which draw the line mil
from one peak to the other, to form the ridge of the
house, and the drawing will be finished.

First draw the square A BCD, making its diameter
equal to the diameter of the circle you propose drawing;
next draw the diagonal lines A D and B C, which will
intersect each other exactly in the centre of the square,
and then placing one leg of a pair A ,, c. „
