There will be no necessity sor cutting a third pattern sor the darkest
red, as it is the same colour, used a little stronger, and sostened into
the first tint os red, as that was into the yellow. By this method the
other two peaches can be produced, taking care to cut the pattern
exactly. Leaves are also executed in the same way.
The method os veining will be shewn in the directions sor Oriental
Tinting, Poonah Work, &c. which is nothing more than stenciling,
on silk, muslin, or paper. The instructions there given sor shading,
colouring, and veining, will apply equally well on velvet, is done with
the proper colours.
