In this work the almanacs for the different months embrace the years from 1475 to 1530.
Regiomontanus was born at Kbnigsberg in 1436. At Vienna, he was the pupil and associate of
George Pu r ba ch, and they jointly undertook a reform of astronomy. In 1472 Regiomontanus was
summoned to Rome by Pope Sixtus IV to aid in the reform of the calendar. There he died in 1476.
The margins of some 11. are rather shortly cut with insignificant loss of text, from two 11.
of the “Calendarium” a small piece of the upper margins cut away. Old MS. annotations.
