This edition is unknown to Souhart, Brunet, Graesse. Nouv. biogr. gener. X, 645: „Le manu-
scrit de cet ouvrage curieux, dedie a Charles IX, est conserve a la bibliothfeque de Dresde“.
A fine copy of this very interesting and esteemed book of hunting. The last few leaves slightly
damaged on lower margin, without loss of text.

Neither Nagler (Till, 1768, 20) nor Andresen (I, 419—20) know this edition which is a page
foi page reprint of the original edition of 1570.
Rent in back margin of title the woodcut-border of which is slightly touched with colour;
unfortunately some of the woodcuts have also been covered with water-colour in a rather childish
manner, but otherwise this is a fine copy of a rare and esteemed book on horses and horsemanship.
The large folding plate is wanting as usually.
