First German edition of this very interesting history of Peru. This volume contains
on page 320/21 a double page woodcut representing a view on the town
of Cuzco. Each volume of this important work is extremely rare.
Waterstained and partly browned.

Lipperheide I, 446. Very interesting work of travel with 10 curious full-length portraits of the
Roman emperor Friedrich IL, the king of France Charles VII., the king of England, the king of
Hungary and Bohemia Ladislaus, the king of Castile, the king of Portugal Alphonso,
the kings of Navarra, Sicily, Scotland, and Cyprus. Each portrait contains also the arms of the king.
The author travelled about the whole Europe from 1453 to 1457. The plates represent the
kings he visited. —
