notes on the manners and customs of the pre Colombian natives, their economical state,

cerpts from the letters of: Giov. Romero and Gasparo de Monroy from Tucuman;
Andrea Ortiz of Santa Croce della Serra; Diego Samaniego of Sta. Croce; and Diego
Vazquez of Residentia di Julij; containing reports on Aricas Tucuman, Santa
Cruz, Peru, Chito, Paraguay, Arechipa, Chile, Cuzco etc. It follows the:

Diego de Torres Bollo born in 155° at Villalpando went to Peru in 1580 and
died at Chuquisaca in 1638.
