• A trans-Atlantic exhibition would serve
to reveal the above attractive features of
German handicrafts in strong contrast to
the American standardised product based
on an exclusive regard for profitable
methods of production, and in this way to
create an understanding and interest for
German arts and crafts.

• The significance of this enterprise is such,
and the future consequences in the direc-
tion of the establishment of closer relation-
ships may be so far-reaching, that a re-
presentative Committee of the following
