os Places by the number of Hours that are
commonly spent in Travelling between ’em ;
and if at any time I make ufe of the Word
League, 1 understand an Hours Journey.
The Italian Miles are generally known,
and need no Explication i only the Leader
way take notice, That Two Miles in Pied-
mont make abnofl Three, after the ordi-
nary way of reckoning 5 and that the Miles
os Lombardy are the fhortefl of all.
I sball only add, That when 1 meafure any
Dijlance by a certain number os (paces,
I mean the Steps 1 ufually make in Walking.
