of another Man of Letters, who donbtless is not
unknown to you. ’Tis the blessed Augufiin of
Ancona.

Her Father’s Epitaph, which I sent you, is not
much more Elegant. ’Tis true, that sometimes
they both wrote and talk d without much Cere-
mony in those Days; but this is not a general
Rule. I cou’d produce several Epitaphs of as an-
cient a Date that Brain the Pahegyrick very high. At st.Ptm
Here is one that says a great deal in three or four Martyr’/ a-
words.
