The chronologica) context of the coin from Skowronno Dotne is of interest. The
earliest settlement phase of the Przeworsk Cuiture at that site is indicated by the ar-
tefacts iinked with the oider phase of the Eariy Roman period (30/40-80/90)2 e.g.,
the hbuia A68 or the unique earring adorned with a nodutar ornamentation, the so-
caiied Simiiar earrings have been found in gravesites of the Przeworsk
Cuiture of the Eariy Roman period, which are dated from the Bi phase (around
the eariy P' century) up to the intermediate phase between the Eariy and Late pe-
riods B2/C1 (140/150-170/180)2 The Aiii-group Prussian-series hbuia tound at the
Skowronno Doine site is marked by a simiiar chronoiogicai attributionf
The high phase of the Eariy and the beginning of the iater Roman period
(B2-Cla), i.e., from the hnai quarter of the 1^ to the hrst haif of the 3^ century,
is represented by a unique hbuia, which may be ciassihed into the series of the
iatest iocai variants, the iate hbuia types derivative of the highly mouided ones
representing the group AV2 The iatest section of the Przeworsk Cuiture settie-
ment, corresponding to the phases Cl and C2 (from the iatter haif of the 2'^ to the
