box in thin
beaten cop-
p e r, with
lining of polished holly
wood, designed and exe-
cuted by H. Bloomfield
Bare, is here reproduced.
A quaint inscription runs
around the four sides, and
the top of the lid is orna-
mented with a conven-
tional treatment of ivy
leaf and berries surround-
ing a monogram of the
owner’s initials.
