A Suburban House and Garden

thing which pertains to
them, in which form and
colour play an important
part, making lives healthier
and brighter, surely this
ideal can be extended,
and a trained intelligence
brought to bear upon the
garden, giving to it just
that same thought and
care which are bestowed
on the house, looking to
it also for a share in the
continual education and
refinement of mind and
eye which association with
beautiful objects must in-
evitably bring. Few who
have felt the calm and
