grosse Loy von Irland, die in Ausmass und Pro-
portionen dicht an die schottischen Gerate kommt.
Am wahrscheinlichsten ist die Vorstellung, dass der
Caschrom derselben Familie gehort wie der Loy
und die Gerate von den Shetland Inseln. Wenn es
sich zeigt, dass die letzteren friihen Datums sind,
wiirden sie eine fundamentale Stellung in dieser
Entwicklung einnehmen.
