with Aleksandra Majewska conceived the exhibition. The catalogue
was prepared by the staff of the Collections of Ancient Art of the National
Museum in Warsaw and the Institute of Mediterranean Archaeology of
the University of Warsaw under the direction of Jadwiga Lipinska. The
exhibition and its accompanying Polish and German language catalogue
was supported by Stiftung für deutsch-polnisch Zusammenarbeit (the Polish-
German Foundation).

Warsaw-manufactured silver-ware; an earlier exhibition displayed silver-ware

from the 18th and the first half of the 19th centuries. This second exhibition
focused on the period 1851-1939. A two-volume catalogue accompanied the
exhibition, drawing from the collections of silver in the National Museum in
Warsaw, the Mazowsze Museum in Plock, the National Museums in Cracow
and Poznan, and churches in Lowicz, Poznan, Torun, and Warsaw. Ryszard
Bobrow conceived the exhibition and wrote the catalogue.
