the Hindus. He himself declared
that his religion was the outcome
of his own enlightenment.
II, Brahmanism.

(а) Brahmanism, besides believing
in one God, often enjoins the
worship of other minor deities,
whose number is only little less
than the population of China!
(б) These rites and sacrifices are
the life and soul of the Brahmani-
cal creed. All other kinds of
worship are useless.
(c) The institution of caste was in-
dispensable. No social, political
or religious body could exist
