At the Leicester Galleries there have
been exhibitions of paintings and etchings
by Mr. Norman Lindsay, an artist of
fertile fancy and robust methods, and of
pictures by Mr. Blampied whose sense of
dignified design and sound technical
quality can be sincerely commended.
The Beaux Arts Gallery has been filled
with a notable collection of flower paint-
ings by various artists ; and at Walker's
Galleries Mr. Cyril Roberts has exhibited
a series of very capable portraits in pastel
and charcoal. The Fine Art Society
have been showing a number of clever ^AZ^r^l
sketches of Venice and old French towns

by Mr. H. A. Trier and some excellent who handles his medium with much
water-colours by Mr. D. Murray Smith intelligence and power. 000
