operations. We also illustrate a necklet
and a pendant, which on examination
reveal a tremendous amount of pains-
taking thought and care; the pierced
work, though mostly conventional, evinces
study of natural forms, as does all true art,
and is rich and beautiful in design. 0
This designer has applied her gifts in
many other kinds of objets d'art, not
illustrated here, such as circular silver
jewelled pyx-boxes for the reception of
the Sacrament, clasps and dishes of silver
with patterns in repousse, besides effective
portrait and landscape studies in both oils
and water-colours, all of which show the
versatility which has come from her
devotion to the cause of art. a 0
