Sample of wood from a digging stick made double
ended like the Jutland paddle spades mentioned
below. This double digging stick was found dur-
ing peat digging in 1898 on location Matr.
No.l8d Dostrup bog, same parish, Alborg coun-
ty, North Jutland. It was found c. 2.50 m below
the surface and 11.3 m from solid ground. The
famous Dostrup ard (K-1494; 610 ± 100 B.C. in

grabstock wurde beim Torfgraben im Jahre 1898

strup, gleichnamiger Pfarrbezirk, Kreis Alborg,
Nordjutland, gefunden. Er wurde 2,5 m unter
der Oberflache und 11,3 m vom festen Boden
