XVIIe SIÈCLE. - école italienne. VASES. - MASCÀRONS,
PAR A. MITELLI.
Les travaux qu'exécuta Mitelli (p. 127) avec le Colonna en
Italie sont : l'hôtel du cardinal de Santa Croce à Bologne,
les appartements de l'aile droite du palais Pitti à Florence, les
décorations de la Vigne de Mezzo-Monte, dirigées par l'Albane, et
d'autres travaux exécutés aux environs de Bologne et de Florence.
Ils passèrent ensuite tous deux en Espagne à la cour du roi
Philippe IV, 1650. Avant ce départ Mitelli publia les croquis
des Vases, Mascarons, dont nous donnons ici un deuxième

The worlcs executed in Italy by Mitelli and Colonna (p. 127)
are : The cardinal di Santa Croce's hôtel in Bologna, the apart-
ntents occupying the right wing of the Pitti palace in Florence,
the décorations of Mezzo-Monte-villa under the direction of the
Albano, and other works executed in the environs of Bologna
and Florence. They afterwards went in Spain atking Philip the
tourtns court, 1650. Before his departure, Mitelli published
sketches of Vases and Masks of which we give to-day a second
spécimen. — (Fac-similé.
