clear reddish tone is very careful. The hands are in admirable
drawing and action. Formerly in the collection of the Marchese
Diogma at Granada.

Pedeo Oeeente.—1 and 2. Two pictures of frieze-like form, one
representing Moses before the burning bush, the other David killing
the lion. These are conceived in a landscape form, and are lightly
and sketchily treated. I am not acquainted with the master.

I know no other collection in England containing so many valu-
able pictures of the Spanish school.
