Religious Changes in Dżemdet Nasr Period in the light of Architeetural
Remains and Written Sourees
ABSTRACT

The article is an attempt to understand the reasons. which caused the change of
a temples’ ground plans in the Dżemdet Nasr period and occurrence of a number of
btuldings, which destiny is not elear. The analysis of architeetural remains and the
written sourees leads to the conclusion, that the serious change in religion took place
in that period. The new persomfications and rituals comiccted willi goddess Inanna
came out. what produced the new form of performing the rites, tlius in conseąuence
- also temples’ ground plans.
