se distinguent des productions contemporaines
jhy-/ par une grande recherche de pureté dans les
ligues et par une exécution soignée, mais froide
et peu colorée. On peut reprocher à cet artiste
son imparfaite connaissance des lois de la perspec-
tive, et la manière trop grêle dont il traite ses
extrémités, défauts que fait ressortir la planche
ci-jointe. Cette pièce d'orfèvrerie est inspirée,
comme forme, des produits de la céramique
italienne et française du commencement du xvne
