the biographies of the author.
Our copy consists of:
1. Def? Saturni Circkel und Lauff, with 4 discs, a pointer, a semi-
meridian and a small disc.
2. Def? Jupiters Circkel und Lauff, with 3 discs, a pointer, a semi-
meridian and a small disc.
3. Del? Martis Circkel und Lauff, with 3 discs, a pointer, a semi-meri-
dian and a small disc.
4. Der S o n n e n Circkel und Lauff, with 3 discs, a pointer and a small
disc.
5. Der Veneris Circkel und Lauff, with 4 discs, a pointer and a small
disc.
6. Del? Mercurij Circkel und Lauff, with 4 discs, a pointer and a
small disc.
The discs are all reinfored by vellum, two of them represent the hemi-
spheres of the celestial globes; the figures representing the constellations are
all carefully cut out. Another disc shows astrological prognostics; the small
discs shows the representation of the planet. On the lower part of the page
w’e see two allegorical figures, emblems of the sciences and the coat of arms
of the author. The text on the verso refers to the years 157,5—82.
The name of the author and the title do not occur in the work. In our
copy 2 plates are missing, viz., Del? Menschen Circkel und Lauff; del? Mons
Circkel und Lauff. Besides this, our copy is in the best state of preservation
with all its movable pieces intact. A tiny womb ole on the lower margin.
A perfect copy was lately offered in an antiquarian's catalogue at Mark
4500.—

Perfect and good copy, somewhat browned and waterstained in places.
