BRICKWORK PRODUCTION (A PRELIMINARY REPORT)
The fort
The Roman Fort atDrajna de Sus1 (Prahova County, Romania) is situated in the
Southern hilly region of the Carpathian Mountains (Fig. 1), on the Southern inclined
mountainside of the Gradiętea Hill (Fig. 2). Its size is of about 200 x 176 m. Porta
dccumana. the only excavated gate, is situated on the NNE side of the fort (Fig. 3).2
