1. blank), capitals supplied in red. With 18 fullpage woodcuts, illus-
trating the Story of the Prodigal Son, and the nice printer’s
device at end (Weil, Die deutsdien Druckerzeidien, p. 45)- Original
blind stamped brown calf over wooden boards, on the front cover a nice
border with hunting scenes, on the under side a border formed by interlaced
cablework, with clasp. (Back slightly repaired). Frs. 2500.—

EDITIO PRINCEPS. Very ha ndsome small edition with very telling
cuts. In the fifty sermons, of which the work consists, a series of conversations occurs
between the prodigal and the Angel or good genius by whom he is everywhere
accompanied.
Nice copy in the original binding. In the first three leaves a small wormhole, a
few old marginal notes, notes of ownership on title.
