This great latin dictionary has been drawn from more than 250 latin authors.
Avogadro’s dedication to Ludovicus Sforza is written in latin verses. Beside many
other latin poems we find, at the end, also a long italian one in “terza rima” against
different sins.
Very fine large and clean copy with some old MS. notes.

The first and only edition of the collected poetical works of the
famous Carmelite. The large poem “De calamitatibus temporis” is a copious source for
history of civilisation of Renaissance.
Variant containing on leaf 2r of the 3rd part the word „Cara | fam” instead of
„Car | fam”.
This edition is one of the 3 dated books of this printer. Only two other books,
of the year 1499, bear a dated colophon. Zirikzee began printing first in 1499 and most
of his products belong to the XVIth century.
Good and large copy. A few lines on two or three leaves have not come up,
some old ms. marginal notes. Otherwise the copy is very clean and in good conservation.
Complete copies comprising all 10 parts, are very rare.
Only 2 perfect copies in U. S. A. (ace. to Census).
