EDITIO PRINCEPS of this anonymous work, finely printed in a rather large
gothic type by Creussner.
The work is an extensive explanation of the Christian dogmas, divided into 21
articles. The author is perhaps Raymon Lull.
Large and clean copy, some marginal notes, a few small wormholes at end.
Three copies in U. S. A. (acc. to Census).

An exquisite piece of early Hebrew printing from the famous and rare
Soncino press. Soncino, a castle in Lombardy was the seat of a learned and rich
Jewish family, who derived their family-name from their residence; they established
a press for the production Of Hebrew books, which was conducted by Joshua Solomon
and his two nephews Gerson and Solomon ben Moses Soncino; the actual printer how-
ever was Abraham ben Rabbi Chajjim de Tintori.
