4to. Nice goth. letter, 27 lines, 136 unn. leaves (the last blank);
rubricated throughout, many capitals supplied in red. Vellum. Frs. 650.—

Very rare like all products from this small press. Probably the first book in
which Fyner’s name occurs.
This famous book contains very interesting chapters: De pollutione; de actu
coniugali; quo ad medicos, quo ad apothecaries; a pistore; a sartore; a
musico seu cythareda; a rusticis et agricolis etc. etc.
Good copy, a few small wormholes in the first and last leaves.
Only one copy in U. S. A. (acc. to Census).

of Cologne and Johannes Manthen, 1480.
4to. Goth, letter, 2 col., 40 lines, 102 unn. 11. with sign., the first
and last blank, capital spaces with guide-letters, capitals supplied in red,
rubricated. Original monastic binding, wooden boards covered with blind
stamped brown calf, panel divided by diagonal double fillets into lozenge
compartments and surrounded by them; on front-cover original vellum title-
label. Inside covers are pasted two interesting leaves from a vellum manuscript
of the Xllth or Xlllth century with neumes. One catch for clasp (clasp
wanting). Frs. 480.—

Nice product of this important Venetian press, printed in a beautiful, small Go-
thic type.
On verso of the first blank leaf note of ownership: ofr’ paulus pb’r Ratispon’
dyoce I hie p’fessus. Anno dni 1.4.8.6./
Large and clean copy in the fine monastic binding. A few wormholes in the first
and last leaves and in blank margins, the blank margin of a few II. stained.
Only 3 copies in U. S. A. (acc. to the Gesamtkatalog).
