XIII. PYRGOS
Pyrgos lies in a commanding position a little south of Khanli Kasteli. It is on the
great Minoan road1 which runs right across Crete from sea to sea.
There are many traces of Minoan work here, and the following were found in a
Late Minoan I a larnax.
