75. Scarab. Found in lowest stratum of Sanctuary of Artemis Orthia.
Originally covered with blue glaze. Cartouche of Men-
kheper-Ra (Thothmes III). The King, wearing the double
crown, kneels to the right with his back to the cartouche; by
his face is the "ab " sign (= heart); below is the "Neb " sign
(= lord).

76. Large Scarab. Found in same stratum as preceding. Paste. Blue glaze gone,
very broken, Ra-men (?) nefer-neter hiq—i.e. Ra-men—
