Found in Tomb 518. 5-5 x 5-3 cms. Typical Old Kingdom
work. (Cf. No. 25 from Knossos.)

Context: L.H. Ill beads, obsidian arrow head, L.H. I—II
pottery (some early L.H. III).

Ist—IInd DYNASTIES

Found in Tomb 102 (next to Tomb 505 on road to citadel).1
Globular body, cylindrical neck, flat handle prolonged with
grooved collar round neck below lip. A type derived from
Syria but common under Thothmes III or Amenhotep II.
(Cf. Maclver and Mace, El Amrah, PI. L. Tomb D. 11.)

Context: another vase of Egyptian alabaster but Minoan
work, L.M. II Palace style vase, L.H. II pottery, gold orna-
ments, steatite lampstands.

99. Four Fragments of Alabaster
Vase.

Found in deposit earth obstructing doorway of "Treasury of
Atreus", in Stamatakis' excavations. Wide flat lip. (Cf. Iso-
pata, Nos. 35, 36, etc.)

Context: M.H., L.H. II and L.H. Ill sherds.

100. Two Fragments of Alabaster Found in "Tomb of Clytaemnestra" in 1913. Same type of
Vase. vase as preceding. From the unstratified earth obstructing

the doorway and dromos.

Context: one M.H., many L.H. I, II, III sherds.

Aegisthus".
