Dr Grażyna Bastek - historyk sztuki, kustosz malarstwa włoskiego w Muzeum Naro-
dowym w Warszawie. Współautorka wielu wystaw, m.in.: „Serenissima. Światło Wenecji”
(1999), „Wywyższeni. Od faraona do Lady Gagi” (2012). Specjalizuje się w historii technik
malarskich dawnych mistrzów, wydała książkę Warsztaty weneckie w drugiej połowie XV i wXVI
wieku. Bellini, Giorgione, Tycjan, Tintoretto (2010). W Instytucie Historii Sztuki Uniwersytetu
Warszawskiego prowadzi wykłady i seminaria poświęcone funkcjonowaniu warsztatów ar-
tystycznych, dziejom nowożytnego malarstwa europejskiego oraz problemom technologii
i konserwacji. Zajmuje się popularyzacją historii sztuki, jej eseje o malarstwie ukazują się
w „dwutygodniku.com” i w miesięczniku „Art & Business”, a w II programie Polskiego Radia
współtworzy audycję Jest taki obraz.
I Dr Grażyna Bastek - art historian and the Italian art curator of the National Museum
in Warsaw. She has co-curated numerous exhibitions there, including “Serenissima. Światło
Wenecji” [Serenissima. The Light of Venice] (1999), “Wywyższeni. Od faraona do Lady Gagi”
[The Elevated: From the Pharaohs to Lady Gaga] (2012). She specializes in the history of the
Old Masters’ painting techniques, and has published Warsztaty weneckie w drugiej połowie XV
i w XVI wieku. Bellini, Giorgione, Tycjan, Tintoretto [The Venetian workshops of the second half
of the fifteenth and the sixteenth centuries. Bellini, Giorgione, Titian, Tintoretto] (2010). She
teaches about art workshops, the history of Early Modern European painting and issues in
technology and conservation at the Institute of Art History ofthe University of Warsaw. She
popularizes the histoiy of art, and her essays about painting appear in dwutygodnik.com and
the monthly Art Business, and she is a co-host of the “Jest taki obraz” [There is a painting...]
programme on Polish Radio II.
Hanna Benesz - długoletni kustosz zbiorów malarstwa niderlandzkiego i flamandzkiego
w Galerii Dawnej Sztuki Europejskiej Muzeum Narodowego w Warszawie, które opracowy-
wała w licznych katalogach wystaw w Polsce i zagranicą, m.in. Złoty Wiek malarstwa flamandz-
kiego: Rubens, van Dyck, Jordaens... 1608-1678 (2007). Wraz z Marią Kluk opracowała i do czasu
publikacji aktualizuje Complete Summary Catalogue. Early Netherlandish, Dutch, Flemish and
Belgian Paintings 14.93-1983. The National Museum in Warsaw (redakcja ok. 450 haseł spośród
900, tablice konkordancji i indeksy). Jest wieloletnim członkiem CODART-u.
I Hanna Benesz - has long served as the curator of Netherlandish and Flemish art in the
Gallery of European Old Masters of the National Museum in Warsaw. She has written about this
genre in numerous catalogues of exhibitions in Poland and abroad, including Zło y Wiekmalarstwa
flamandzkiego: Rubens, van Dyck, Jordaens. 1608-1678 [The Golden Age of Flemish art: Rubens,
van Dyck, Jordaens. 1608-1678] (2007). She is the co-editor, with Maria Kluk, of the Complete
Summary Catalogue. Early Netherlandish, Dutch, Flemish and Belgian Paintings 14.93-1983. The
National Museum in Warsaw (editing ca. 450 of its 900 entries, concordance tables and indexes,
which she updates until they are published). She is a long-standing member of CODART.
