First edition and the only book printed in the XVth cent, at Chivasso.
The first blank leaf which contains a library-stamp and some old entries is made up on upper
part. The first sixteen leaves are also slightly damaged on the riffht corner and repaired with small
loss of text. Besides these insignificant damages the copy is partly browned and stained by water,
esp. at the beginning and end. Marginal notes in places.
On the whole a medium copy of a most scarce incunabulum printed at Chivasso.

Extremely rare Spanish Woodcut-Incunabulum printed in the monastery of Montserrat, in the
neighbourhood of Barcelona.
This monastery is of the highest interest on account of the medieval German legend (Parsifal)
which locate here the Castle of the Holy Grail. The cut on the title is the earliest repre-
sentation of the scene of the Parsifal Legend.
This curious book is of the greatest rarity.
Fine copy. Only one copy in U. S. A. (acc. to Census).

Fine product from this famous press, nicelyprinted with the small
type first used as the text type of Part II of the Grammatica of Brunner
i n 1468. The heading of the first text leaf, the full colophon and the prin-
ter's device are printed in red.
Exceedingly fine and clean copy with very large margins, nearly uncut.
