The almanach covers the years 1489—1506; and consists of 18 quires of 14 leaves each. The intro-
duction, 10 leaves, contains the tabula regionum, the astrolog', rules relating to phar-
macy, to the planting of trees and the vine, and to the prediction of the
weathe r. The 10 th leaf shows a horoscope woodcut.
Large clean copy with old notes on the title: ,,Est magistri cornelij roelans de mechlinijs, &c.“
A piece of the blank part of leaf 11, 25 and 39 cut away. No copy in U. S. A. (acc. to Census).

Very important medical work written by the grandfather of the famous martyr, Girolamo Savon-
rola. He was a Padua physician of much repute and learning and had settled at Ferrara. He lived
from ca. 1382 to ca. 1462.
This important work is of special character, containing tracts on the pulse, the qualities of
urine and the faeces. Very fine and clean copy.

tions his large library.
