otherness is constitutive for the formation of reform communities. Just like the
other proposed definitions, the outlined conceptual pair of values and norms is
not meant to be an absolute explanatory approach, but an operationalisation of
ongoing discussion in the field of history of values as part of the study's analytical
framework.
