■ § VII. — The following is a Coptic stela bf white marble, found by Capt. Lybns at
Maharraqa, opposite Serra, a litfcle to the north of Wacli Halfa. In the 7th line, Mauragô
hiust be the old form of Maharraqa. The upper part of the stela is broken;
