Ariftoyh. in So they say that the Latin word Lorica comes srom Lorum,
Pace, the dryed and tanned hide, whereof it was made. According
to that of Virgil,
Qui pessid /at os humeros eximpta jrtvenca
Pugnatori operit.
The holes where they put out their armes Arijlophanes calls
Sxtxayuas, by a Metaphor from the holes of a boate,whtre they
put out the Oares.
The Colour most in ose upon their Armes,C!othss,or Cresis,
