sopbisss among the Indians, the Galleou among the Sicilians,
and the Hetrufciamong the Italians. Neither was the honour
or credit ofDivination lesse than the use. For if we may be-
lieve a Strabo, Ol Jh ^utvrett '(jisutrn an >tj 8ttotA.elai'(li;tv$isjJ many
of their eld Prophets hive been thought Worthy to be Kings. To
