SOME SMALL EGYPTIAN MONUMENTS DISPERSED IN AMERICA 33

After the mention of "Neit, the mistress of Sais" and of "Osiris of the house of
the king of Lower Egypt", there can be no doubt that this statuette came from the
necropolis of Sais. The names of the mother and grandmother of our Hor are com-
mon : 'A-t(i) and Ze{d)-mut; that of bis father, Pnn, is the more unusual'. Gram-
matically interesting for that late period is the imperative hs(w), line 4-5.

The pièce was brought from New Orléans, ca. 30 years ago, by Col. J. M. G. Par-
ker; how it came there, could not be ascertained.

Mr. John F. Lewis, 1928 Spruce st., Philadelphia, lias a number of antiquities in
his possession, acquired by his father who visited Egypt in 1845. They were bought
chiefly at Luxor.
