rooms have rich ceilings in
modelled plaster, and the
floors are of oak in narrow
widths, the doors in maho-
gany. The exterior is in
white plaster, with a trow-
elled and floated face, the
wall tiles in bright red, the
roofs covered with a dark
hand-made tile. The cost
has worked out at tenpence
per foot cube, including all
finishings and decorations.
