Außerhalb der pädagogischen Struktur der
HfG, doch eng mit ihr verknüpft, gibt es ein
Institut für Produktgestaltung und ein Institut
für Industrialisiertes Bauen. Das Institut für
Produktgestaltung ist zusammengesetzt aus
verschiedenen Entwicklungsgruppen, jeweils
von einem Dozenten geleitet. Sie tragen dazu
bei, daß die durch den Kontakt mit der Design-
Praxis erworbenen Erfahrungen in den
pädagogischen Sektor übergeleitet werden.

Teachers’ Design
Work
Distinct from the educational body of the HfG,
but closely associated with it, there are an
Institute for Industrial Design and an Institute
for Industrialized Building. The Institute for
Industrial Design is composed of different
development groups, each directed by a
lecturer. Their contribution is through their
dose contact with design practice, which
enables them to pass on to the educational
side, the knowledge gained by practical
experience in this field.
Development Group 5
Die Entwicklungsgruppe 5 an der HfG wird
von Otl Aicher geleitet. Folgende Aufgaben
wurden bisher von ihr bearbeitet: Erschei-
nungsbilder von Unternehmen, Firmenzeichen,
Geschäftspapiere, Kataloge, Ausstellungs-
stände, Plakate, Annoncenserien, Farbsorti-
mente von Kunststoffen, Verpackungen.
The Development Group 5 at the HfG is led
by Otl Aicher. So far it has dealt with the
following topics: corporate Images, trade
marks, letter headings, catalogues, exhibition
Stands, posters, series of advertisements,
colour catalogues for plastics, packaging.
