adaptation. In general, this basic fact adds a specific trait to the heritage of late-Baroque
architecture in Latvia, illustrating at the same time the spread of interpretative processes
of historical styles occurring in the main neighbouring country where Roman Catholicism
was practised; i.e. in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.
