At the show of Mr. Rhead's work
were two panels, the one, white swans
on a blue and green background, the
other, peacocks, which the artist in
tends, I believe, for tapestry weaving.
Their delightful colour, a rich har-
mony of peacock-blues, greens and
purples, could not be effectively re-
produced here, but they rivalled a
stained glass window in their gorgeous
harmonies.
