Ausschnitt aus einer Gefangenenzeitschrift der Strafanstalt
Untermaßfeld unter Leitung von Dr. Albert Krebs. Wir bilden
diese Zeitschrift nicht wegen ihrer Typografie ab, sondern
als Dokument einer Laienzeitschrift. Sie wird größtenteils von
den Gefangenen hergestellt und gedruckt. Die Mitarbeiter sind
Gefangene, Beamte und Menschen, die sich für die Probleme
des modernen Strafvollzugs interessieren

Extrait de la gazette des detenus de la Prison d'Untermassfeld, publiee
sous la direction du docteur Albert Krebs. Nous reproduisons cette
revue comme exemple interessant d'un journal publie par des amateurs
et non pour sa composition typographique. La majeure partie des
travaux de redaction et d'impression mcombe aux detenus. Les colla-
borateurs se recrutent parmis les detenus, les fonctionnaires de
l'etablissement et d'autres personnes s'interessant aux problemes du
regime penitentiaire moderne

Part of a specimen page from a periodical published by the inmates
of Untermassfeld prison (Germany) under the governorship of Dr. Albert
Krebs. We do not exhibit this periodical so much on account of its typo-
graphic character, but as striking evidence of amateur newspaper work,
it being for the greater part got up and printed by the inmates of the
prison, the prison staff, and other persons taking a genuine interest
in the problems of the life of a prisoner
